Car T-Bones Motorcyclist, Then Motorcycle Taken

Posted on Aug 14, 2015

A motorcyclist was t-boned at the intersection of Army Post Road and Southeast Fifth Street. The motorcycle rider took his bike for a birthday ride and was struck by a car. According to the KCCI story he may actually have his foot amputated if reconstructive surgery doesn’t solve his medical problems.

Amputations from side collisions with cars hitting motorcycles are more common than people realize. To make matters worse two men allegedly stole his motorcycle after he was taken from the accident scene.

“A fund has been set up to help Miller and his family with his medical bills. Donations can be made to the Mark Miller fund at either Tradesmen Community Credit Union location at 1400 2nd Ave. or 2930 SE 14th St. in Des Moines.” Laura Nichols reporting.

Man’s motorcycle stolen after serious crash

Like ATV cases that motorcycle is evidence of how the crash was likely to have happened. If whoever stole would like to return it through my office you may hire me as your lawyer and I will return it to the rightful owner.
