U.S. Highway 25 Crash is a failure to yield the right of way

The Orient-Macksburg Community teacher killed in the motorcycle-car crash in Union County on Saturday is an example of a failure to yield the right of way. As reported the car turned left at 130th Avenue with his 1993 Ford Escort car and caused the accident that took the man's life. The guy on the motorcycle was young, just 23-years-old with his entire life ahead of him. The other driver has to wonder why he didn't see the motorcycle. Did he not look, does he need glasses or will he allege the motorcycle rider was speeding?
