Polk County Courthouse Security Fails the Sound the Alarm

Polk County, Iowa - Security communication at the Polk County Courthouse may need new batteries. Judge Arthur Gamble pushed the activation button when a prisoner became unruly. Nothing happened. Apparently the company working on the system hadn't informed the judges or the Sheriff's Office hadn't notified them. It would probably have been a good idea to tell the judges. Judge Gamble is Polk County's Chief Judge. Knowing and having been in his courtroom I'm sure he wasn't amused; not in the least bit.
