A man from Red Oak, Iowa died on Wednesday from injuries sustained when his motorcycle struck a deer. The accident happened near Stanton in southwest Iowa in Montgomery County on Highway 34. The time of the accident is around 4:10 a.m. I hear it all the time from those who are against mandatory helmet laws -that the way to reduce the number of deaths is to make other drivers more aware and paying closer attention to the traffic. But many deaths are caused by a motorcyclist losing control of the bike or from striking a deer. Here is one more instance of a deer-motorcycle collision related accident and death.
