At a school construction zone in Centralia, Missouri a worker was “accidentally” run over by a fellow worker. This is the second serious construction site accident in the month of November. The equipment was a skid loader that weighs 8,500 pounds. Operators claim they are tough to operate, are heavy and backing up creates sight problems – none of which excuses anyone from backing over someone else.
Although there were “no internal injuries” the worker suffered two broken legs, a fractured femur, pelvis and arm. He is not dead.
