Man Dies from Injuries Sustained in Webster County Collision

Brett Neal, 23, was traveling southbound on Highway 169 in Webster County on Saturday, August 20th around 6:15 p.m. A second vehicle, driven by Tanner Van Every, was traveling westbound on 300 when he struck Neal’s vehicle at the intersection of Highway 169 and 300. Neal died at the scene, and Van Every and this three passengers, all children, were treated for injuries and released.

Neal appears to be free of fault. The cause appears from the report to be a failure to stop at a stop sign.
