Posted on Aug 07, 2016

John Phillip, 21, was riding his ATV near Knapp Road in Mount Vernon at around 10:40 p.m. on July 3rd. During his ride, Phillip lost control and collided with a fence. The ATV then rolled on top of him, pinning him underneath. Phillip was transported to University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics where he succumbed to his injuries.

The news analysis concludes that a loss of control by the operator was the cause. But without a more in-depth investigation one never knows if this is the true cause.
