Although this isn't really a motorcycle accident a bicyclist has many of the same challenges as do motorcycle riders. Probably the biggest is the other driver's failure to yield the right-of-way when they make a left turn.

Like motorcyclists, bicyclists have similar challenges

Johnson County, Iowa - Bicycle Blues in Iowa City - Two people riding a tandem bike were struck by a car attempting to turn into a driveway in Iowa City, Iowa at 3018 Prairie Du Chien Road north of Iowa City. The SUV was a 1996 Chevrolet Tahoe being driven by 39-year-old Justin Meade of North Liberty. The bicycle riders are Kristin and Todd Spacek (40) from Coralville and Iowa City. The bike riders left the scene by ambulance and headed to University of Iowa Hospitals.

Its spring again; so as drivers our lookout has to change with the seasons. Look for bikes and motorcycles. March 30, 2010 at 6:56 PM. Was it dusk? The Tahoe is driving southbound and the bike is coming from the south heading north. The setting sun wouldn't help make the bike or the riders stand out with a silhouette.  Were they using a bike light? All these issues would need to be evaluated.

Can I file a lawsuit regarding racial discrimination? Two days ago an assistant manager at my workplace made a comment about my race saying to me hey Hispanic guy no I mean hey you (profane word) Mexican! I guess he was trying to joke with me when I have never made any type of racial remark to him periodically. Is it possible to file for a lawsuit about this if I haven't told management yet or recorded the time it took place or exact words there was a coworker that witnessed the altercation.

Can my 6 year old get compensation for a hotel injury? We stayed at a hotel. My son got shocked and burned on his fingertip from a table lamp on/off switch. The hotel said the fuse box had a burn out. So that might have caused it. The insurance company offered $500. Should I take it? Or can I get more?
