Legal malpractice case settled $150 Million claim

The law firm of Irell & Manella was sued in April 2007 for “critical errors” in the legal work involved with a 1999 cable TV acquisition by Charter Communications. The suite was filed in California. The WSJ reports Irell was paid $55 million in fees. Charter is from St. Louis.
