Keokuk County, Iowa - Another two-car intersection accident at Iowa Highway 21 and 22 killed one of the drivers. March 22, 2010 at 12:05 P.M. The one driver slowed but didn't come to a complete stop and as she started crossing the intersection the Ford F-150 being driven by 52-year-old David Barner collided (t-boned the Grimm vehicle). Barner was taken to the Mahaska County Hospital. The speed limit is 55, the weather clear and the road conditions normal. A California stop isn't a legal stop. According to the report Grimm from What Cheer did not use protective measures, meaning a seat belt. Barner used his seat belt and shoulder harness; his air bag also deployed.
