

Iowa - I-35 - Semi-truck and car accidents - Rollover's on the interstate are common
The rollover truck accident is pretty much always a serious matter and many times fatal to the driver and passengers. In this instance it was a single vehicle accident and the driver was killed; he was not wearing his seatbelt and had to be extricated from the truck. Ice, snow and probably speed contributed to the collision. The Iowa State Patrol also has a report on this collision. See this link and the link below.

A crash occurred in Cerro Gordo County on January 10, 2011
UNIT WAS NORTHBOUND NEAR MILE MARKER 196.90 WHEN IT STARTED INTO THE DITCH, IT ROLLED ONE COMPLETE TIME AND THEN ANOTHER PARTIAL. THE DRIVER WAS NOT WEARING HIS SEAT BELT AND BECAUSE OF THAT WAS PARTIALLY EJECTED FROM THE VEHICLE.
