I-80 Adair County MVA Results in Serious Damages

There names haven't yet been released but the passenger's name was released. she is a 37 year-old female from Crestview, Florida. She was taken to Mercy Hospital in Des Moines. The collision is described as a full-sized pickup truck sliding across the median into a semi-truck (a Volvo) killing two of the people in the pickup truck. The pickup truck is a Ford F-150. The accident is on January 9, 2011 at 15:35 or 3:35 pm. The location is in Adair County, on I-80 at the mile marker 9615 in the eastbound lane.
Here is Trooper Brosam's description, he was assisted by the Adair County Sheriff's office.
VEH 1 WAS WB I80, VEH 2 WAS EB I80-VEH 1 LOST CONTROL ENTERING THE MEDIAN AND CONTINUED INTO EB TRAFFIC, STRICKING THE SEMI ON THE DRIVERS SIDE BOTH VEH CAME TO REST IN THE PASSING LANE OF I80 AT THE 96,15MM EB- BOTH DRIVER AND PASSENGER OF VEH 1 WERE PRONOUNCED DEAD AT THE SCENE- DRIVER AND PASSENGER OF THE SEMI, VEH 2 WERE TRANSPORTED TO MERCY IN DES MOINES WITH MINOR INJURIES- THIS ACCIDENT IS STILL UNDER INVESTIGATION BY THE IOWA
