September 20, 2010 - Mills County, Iowa - This is a two-vehicle crash on I-29 at the on-ramp (35) at Glenwood involving a semi-truck and a GMC pickup. The weather is partly cloudy and the time is 8:40 a.m. The driver of the pickup truck died in the ensuing collision. Actually I covered this collision previously. The pickup truck driver attempted a u-turn in a head-to-head construction zone and was t-boned by a semi-truck. The at-fault driver in this case may have attempted an illegal u-turn as well as a failure to yield the right-of-way and a failure to maintain a proper lookout.
The guy in the semi was driving Mack truck and from the report he appears uninjured.
