Head-On Collision in Palo Alto County

The one vehicle swerved across the center line and struck a pickup truck head-on. The result is reported to be the death of two people in the vehicles. Participants include: Bruce Plucker (57), Franklin Honold (77), Janice Honold and Wayne Vanveldhuisen (58). Plucker's vehicle is reported to have swerved into the westbound lanes of U.S. Highway 18 striking the Honold pickup. Two died and two were taken to the hospital with injuries. Why did that Alero cross the center line?
