Driver's Safety: driving in a snow storm or after it requires readjusting how you drive.

A 60 year-old man was killed on Saturday when a pickup driven by Bobby Glass is reported to have crossed the center line striking him head on. Glass did not die. The driver who died was John. Kernan of Le Claire, Iowa.

The accident took place on Highway 67 in Scott County in Iowa.

In Iowa every driver has certain duties which when breached makes them liable to those they injure. I wasn’t in Iowa on Saturday, but it snowed. This is Iowa and we expect it to snow. When it snows we have to slow down and drive more carefully. These are the duties or lookout, driving with due care and at a speed fit for the road conditions. Were they breached? It’s hard to say with just looking at these facts as reported by The Gazette.
