An interesting Des Moines Register story points out the City of Pella would likely claim immunity from liability under state recreational laws if sued over the deaths of the two boys from Kansas City. Bolstered by statements from two Aquatic experts the article exposes the cynical side of the practice of law; escaping responsibility for one's negligent actions.
