What does a 2002 Yamaha YZF-R1 motorcycle have in common with a jet? Well apparently a jet can’t travel at speeds of 164 mph and be so close to the ground. Kyle Russell, just 20 knows what it feels like to go from zero to 164 mph in seconds. And apparently the Cedar Rapids police weren’t especially impressed with is prowess for going faster than a speeding bullet. Seems how several motorcycles going 104 mph were caught on radar.

They split up but a police helicopter kept up with one catching him on radar going 164 mph. It’s reported he was found hiding in a boat when they caught up with him. And I though Superman changed his clothes in a telephone booth?

But one has to wonder, can a Yamaha YZF-R1 motorcycle really go 164 miles per hour?

Illegal motorcycle street race 305 km/h can cause accidents and kill others who become the unintended victims or reckless behavior.

FYI: According to Convert-It, 305 km/hr is the equivalent of 189.51821363238685 mph.

And 164 mph is the equivalent of 263.932416 km/hr.

Foolish is as foolish does.

ATV, Bike & Motorcycle Accidents

Is there anything I can do to settle my health problems after an accident? Hit by car on bike, no treatment, and no police. Now shoulder hurts any recourse? This is not a hit and run, he paid for the damage to my bike, and I agreed he could do it out of pocket because it was less than his deductible and I thought I was fine. That night he gave me a ride home and did admit he did not look my way. He also loaned me a wheel for my bike which I did not use. He paid me with a check for the damage. I have pictures of my bike and his truck (license plate yes but a bit fuzzy) from the night. I have his name, address, phone number, and place of employment, and receipts from my bike repair. I will feel bad about renegotiating our agreement but my health is at stake. Is there anything I can do?

How do I file a claim after being in an accident? My husband was a cyclist and was hit by a car. How do I start a claim against the person who hit him?
