Lately Ames has had too many unexplained deaths. This may be another one. It’s difficult to buy this theory of this 19-year-old climbing up the track hill when she could simply walk on the road and under the tracks. Why would she climb up and over the tracks and not hear a train coming? She’d been drinking, but how much? The autopsy results aren’t completed or haven’t yet been released. That might tell us something, but will it lead us to a conclusion about why? Follow the link and you’ll see what a pretty young lady she is.

Ames Train Death Leaves a Lot of Questions

Posted on Apr 29, 2010

An Ames woman was killed by a train in the City of Ames near 13th and Ontario Streets. Incredibly the locomotive engineers must not have known they struck her. There is no indication if she was in or out of a car; although it appears to me the report is saying she was walking. She'd been out with a group of friends, got separated and was later discovered by police. Also reported by KCCI-8 and this report includes video footage. The incident is described as being near Veenker Memorial Golf Course. The body was discovered around 5:30 a.m. Now what I wonder about is whether she was struck by the train or was it made to appear she was struck by a train to cover-up another crime?

When the negligent or at-fault driver dies will their insurance still pay for the other driver’s injuries?

Can a child be sued when he shoots another hunter?

Do I have to cover someone's medical bills if I accidentally caused an injury? The guys hand was broke now we have to pay for the surgery and everything else. I offered that day to take him to get his hand x-rayed. He declined and then two days later took himself to the ER and found out it was broken then had to have surgery to put pins in it. I offered to help pay and have paid him $300 so far. Now his next bill he wants me to pay is $1030 and that doesn't included surgery bills yet. He said he will sue me if I don't pay all of his bills. When is enough enough?
