Accidents on I-80, I-35, I-380, I-9 and other highways traversing Iowa because by the nature of interstate highway travel the people involved are often times not from Iowa. The ease of travel makes litigating interstate highway collisions more complicated. While the Iowa State Patrol does an excellent job of investigating and documenting these types of accidents there is more to do outside of the investigative process. One thing in particular is dealing with often times multiple insurance companies, drivers, owners and witnesses.
