When the negligent or at-fault driver dies will their insurance still pay for the other drivers injuries?

A:

Yes, an example I found is the accident on 1423 Highway 38 in Muscatine County on January 12, 2012 between Krysten Reddick and Matthew Roberts from Wilton, Iowa. From the police report Roberts appears to be blame-free in that Reddick’s car came across the center line where the initial point of impact occurred. Roberts was injured and Reddick died from injuries suffered during the collision. We travel the state of Iowa litigating these claims and most of the time, 99% we are able to resolve them without a trial. Probably 60% need to have a lawsuit filed, but that doesn’t mean it’s going to trial. It just means we have to work harder for you.
