What can I do if I am beyond the statute of limitations? I was abused by an ordained member of a church, not Catholic. I believe that am beyond the statute of limitations in my home state. I need advice because I have suffered for many years (I am Male and now 50 years old) I have tried many things to help but every time this horrible past comes to haunt me I seem to always be too late to do something. I was just told yesterday 11/9/2011 from the Police Dept. in my home town they can do nothing for me. I want to go to the Media and need to know if there is anything that can be done against me from the Church or Individual who abused me. There is much, much more to this case than what I have written here.
