Progressive Ins. is charging me with an accident/loss claim for a car that was towed to my place of business (at my expense out of pocket) I was informed that it had been worked on by Wal-Mart and owner received a settlement out of court for the damages they caused. It was then diagnosed at a dealership before bringing it to me. The owner left no address or phone number to contact him, and promised to return with tow payment and decision of the work he wanted done. There was never an estimate completed and the car sat on the lot for 6 months with the keys in the center console per customer request. I was terminated in Dec, 2008 and the car was still there upon my departure. Progressive states the loss occurred on 2/6/09 . Two months after i left. I feel the owner is committing insurance fraud (again) and the business I was employed for should be responsible for any loss. I was not there when the loss happened. I am just being chosen as the fall guy.

There aren't enough facts stated to put this into any context; such as why would a person's personal auto insurer charge them for someone else's car when it hasn't been in an accident? But, have you explained what you explain here in writing to them? Start there.
Welcome to the Lombardi Law Firm website. If you or an interested person are in a collision and you would like the crash analyzed you'll need to contact Attorney Lombardi.
