Q: Is misdiagnosis considered a personal injury case?
No but it can be a part of a personal injury case. When injured in a car accident, as an example, putting you in position of requiring medical treatment makes the tortfeasor (the one at fault) legally responsible for the outcome of medical treatment. And that's true even if the medical result is less than optimal.
