How do I calculate pain and suffering damages in a soft tissue injury car accident case?

Wow, this is not an easy thing to do. Even lawyers have a difficult time stating an objective basis for these damages. It takes understanding what the injured worker has gone through to know how to argue the point about pain and suffering damages. Start with how significant is the main injuries and then how that has affected the injured person's ability to work. You know did they miss work? Were they demoted? Did they change jobs or miss classes at school? Is the injured person a work-at-home mom with an infant to take care of? Frankly it's not easy so review the medical records and try to put those descriptions into perspective about the injured person's life.
