Do Toyota Land Cruisers have a rollover problem?

I saw where two teens from Minnesota driving on I-35 in Freeborn County rolled the Toyota Land Cruiser over last Monday, January 17, 2011. The report comes out of Albert Lea. One of the teens (Jenna Albert, 18) is from Iowa. She was reported as a passenger. There seems to be a lot of rollover type of accidents this winter. Maybe I'm just noticing them more, but the icy conditions must be setting up the loss of control issues that set it in motion. Most passengers need to realize the insurance adjusters may be friendly but that doesn't translate into them being the passenger's friend. The adjuster's job remains the same: figure out how to not pay for anything. I'm keeping an eye on these collisions and noting the vehicles involved.

ALBERT LEA - Two teenagers, one from Iowa and one from Minnesota, are in critical condition following a rollover crash Monday morning on Interstate 35 in Freeborn County.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, 18-year-old Alexander Joy of Stillwater, Minn. was driving north on Interstate 35 just before 9 a.m. when he lost control and rolled his Toyota Land Cruiser SUV.

Alexander was ejected from the vehicle. Alexander and 18-year-old Jenna Albert, the passenger of the SUV, were both listed in critical condition.

The crash happened near the Minnesota-Iowa border.
