Can a child be sued when he shoots another hunter?

A:

Yes. 

A Missouri man, Steve Nelson was shot in the thigh, hand and arm when a 12-gauge shotgun being carried by a 12-year-old boy discharged while walking behind him. This happened to my roommate in college. Children can be sued when engaging in adult activities, especially those that are dangerous and can take life. Supervision of the juvenile by the parents and adults accompanying them can also be sued.
