Am I obligated to pay for the fees resulting from an auto accident? I hit and dented a guardrail four years ago. The highway department said they replaced it two years ago but it looks exactly the same after my accident. Do I have a case so that the state will drop the fee and pay for my legal fees?

I'm not sure how to answer this question. But before we get to what you have to do I'm wondering if you had insurance. If you did then turn this into the insurance company who insured you at the time and they will pay the amount of damages up to the limits of property damage coverage you purchased. I'm curious, how much did the guard rail cost to replace?
