Today I'm going to focus on the unexplained facts that allow us to draw final conclusions about why or how things happen. Being a lawyer can be full of unexplained questions and investigation to be able to draw legitimate conclusions about a case. It takes an inquisitive mind to be a good lawyer. Here we stroll through the recent Iowa personal injury news and see there are many-many cases where questions remain unanswered.
The missing ISU student's body was discovered by campus security in an old dairy building on the ISU campus. Jonathan Lucina of Grinnell, Iowa has been missing for 3 months. What was he doing there? Or did someone put him there after he was dead? Was foul play involved? Are students involved with his disappearance and death? What was the cause of death? What is the likely date and time of death? Was he robbed? See also the follow-up story on KCCI-8, ISU Struggles With Student Deaths. Video.
The body of a man who allegedly escaped from the Newton Correctional Facility in February was discovered in the Birdland Lagoon. Two boys wanting to fish discovered the body. Norway, Iowa - Another teacher-student inappropriate contact case hit the news from Norway, Iowa. A story reports that a sixth-grade teacher was accused "of sending sex-tinged instant messages and emails to students." The first question of course is why do sixth-graders have cell phones and then why would any teacher have student cell phone numbers? And why aren't cell phones banned from grade schools, like drugs and such?
Huxley, Iowa - What medical condition caused the Ballard High School soccer player to collapse during the second half of the game against Boone? And most important is he alright?
Davenport, Iowa - What killed David Lee Spriet, Jr. the 51-year-old gentleman? This past week human remains were found in a vacant mobile home lot in Scott County. The second question of course is who is flipping on the murderer and why? The article indicates Scott County officials have a person of interest in mind. Two men were involved in a stabbing incident back in January. One person remains in jail.
Reasnor, Iowa - Was something in the road that forced the 55-year-old female motorcycle driver to lose control on County Road F62? The story mentions nothing about the size of the bike and whether the loss of control involved other issues. Jasper County Sheriff's deputies investigated the accidental death.
Des Moines, Iowa - In another motorcycle accident over by the Iowa State Fair grounds a 26-year-old woman of Des Moines died when two motorcycles collided in the 400 block of E 30th. What will the investigative report indicate about speed and alcohol?

And why would the guests catch it using a pillow case before calling for room "snake" service? And lastly, is the State of Nebraska asking for more trouble by adopting it out?
