The family of a two-year old little girl is now mourning her death after a tragic car and semi-truck accident on Monday, August 21st.  The family was in Iowa to watch the solar eclipse and was heading back to their home in Minnesota when they came upon a car accident along I-80 and slowed down as they approached.  A semi-truck following the family's car did not slow down and ended up rear-ending the family vehicle, pushing the family vehicle into another car in front of them and causing the death of the little girl.  The mother was lifeflighted from the scene, but is expected to make a full recovery.  No other injuries were reported from the crash.  Investigators are looking into the crash and will determine whether charges will be filed against the truck driver.
