Pottawattamie County - Antonio Gonzalez from Monroe was driving his 1999 Ford Ranger westbound on I-80 at the 33, 55 mile marker. When the tire tread separated he lost control rolled across the center median into the eastbound lanes of traffic on I-80. Gonzalez was taken to Jennie Edmundson ER.
Here is what to take away from this accident, the tire tread separation. You need the tires in order to prove if this is an actionable claim against the tire manufacturer.
