Tama Construction Worker on-the-job Injury

Tama-Toledo, Iowa - Report states a construction worker in Tama County, working on a ladder at Benda Ag Services north of Vining fell from the ladder, struck some rebar, then suffered a head injury and had to be flown to Iowa City for treatment. Head injuries that result in traumatic brain injury can make a worker permanently totally disabled, rending them unemployable. Spouses and dependent children are entitled to receive benefits in some instances. Workers with lifetime brain damage can receive medical benefits for life.
