In today's Verdict we analyze several news stories involving accidents and personal injury across the nation. As a lawyer working personal injury for over 30 years it's pretty interesting how the Internet has changed our business and made accident reports more available to us. I continue to take cases although in this economic and political climate we've been more selective about what we take. Not every case is profitable because not every case is one a jury will approve of and award enough in damages. Your case has to be economically viable or feasible for it to be worth your time and effort. That doesn't sit well with many potential clients because their expectations about what is possible needs adjusting.
All I can say to you is be reasonable and open your mind to the possibility that your facts don't make a case. Car, truck and motorcycle accidents still get pretty decent treatment in the jury room, so call us if we can help you evaluate your facts to see if you have a case. I'm starting to like car accident cases where there is a drunk driver who has been sold and served alcohol at a bar. These cases can be challenging due to the witnesses being difficult to locate and uncooperative, but if called soon enough we can usually put a case together for you. My advice is to hire a lawyer early and do it before talking to any insurance company. Because, while the adjuster may be friendly, that doesn't make him/her your friend.

If you or an interested person are in a collision and you would like the crash analyzed you'll need to contact Attorney Lombardi. This may or may not result in an attorney-client relationship and simply asking for a review does not in and of itself create such a relationship. If you ask and Mr. Lombardi thinks you have a case he will say so and provide an agreement for representation that then creates an attorney-client relationship. The bottom line is that Mr. Lombardi has to agree to take you on as a client; the first step of course is asking him. You've got two ways: telephone 515-222-1110 or email sent to sdlombardi@aol.com.
