

On August 27th 2009 a semi broke through a guardrail on interstate 380 in Cedar Rapids. The Cedar Rapids Fire Department spokesman Greg Buelow said that several people had called police to report the truck had gone through the guardrail and that the cab was on fire. Several of the appliances the truck was hauling had fallen to the ground below the interstate and Mr. Buelow also reported that one person in the cab had died. The investigation remains under investigation.
