Cass County, Iowa - Two semi-trucks collided on I-80 at the 25 mile marker in the eastbound lanes of travel on November 4, 2016 at 5:31 A.M. Adam Wolf, from Omaha, Nebraska (38 years old) died in the crash. Angelo Chiarelli from Lancaster, PA (51) was injured. According to police the two semi-trucks collided after the Chiarelli semi left the hard surface, struck the Nishna River Bridge, then lost control, rolled on the driver’s side and was then struck by the Wolf semi coming from the rear. Both trucks caught fire and Mr. Wolf was pronounced dead at the scene. The link to the KETV news report has a photograph of Mr. Adam Wolf. The KSOM news report shows firefighters attempting to put out the fire. You can see I-80 closed and the truck lying on the driver’s side.
