Rollover at Backbone State Park Entrance

Charmonix, FranceThe news report has the driver thinking she was going to miss her turn, so she overreacted, hit the brakes too hard, begins to fishtail, then loses control and ends up rolling the car. Accident occurred at westbound 110th and 130 Avenue near Strawberry Point, Iowa. In the car were two passengers and the driver; all were injured severely enough to require a trip to the hospital.

So what went wrong here? The overreaction and if I could talk with the passengers and driver my guess is there is more to this story.

Here are the new’s stories from KCRG, Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier and KSCJ. (KSCJ Live)

The Waterloo-Courier identifies the three as:

The three were identified as:

  • Danielle Roling, 25, the driver of the vehicle.
  • Whitney Gibbs, 23.
  • Sarah Rose, 22.

All three were transported by ambulance to Regional Medical Center in Manchester.
