Postal Worker struck by car – car and pedestrian collisions

This is an interesting accident that I've not heard about previously, but one that I half expect to see more of; except that the postal workers seem to be pretty adept at watching out for their own safety. In this personal injury accident a postal worker was struck by a van while delivering the mail. The postman is not Neuman, he's Gregory Kline from Bettendorf, Iowa. He's 52-years-old and was crossing West 3rd Street heading north; but beyond that there isn't much detail in the news article. The story was covered by WQAD, News 8 out of southeast Iowa.

After a worker is injured is when they need the support of their employer the most. But injured workers aren't given a level playing field. The company doctor often times is not helping them and the case manager isn't either. The worker is left alone to fend for themselves and to make mistakes that result in lower benefits or fewer weeks of benefits. Some are sent back to work too soon. There is only one person on your side and that understands this system. If your lawyer doesn't understand the nature of this claim you've got the wrong lawyer.  Steve Lombardi has practiced in the area of workers compensation for over 30 years. He's tried hundreds of cases for more than one thousand clients. If you'd like help finding a competent lawyer we do assist people in locating a lawyer in Iowa or in Illinois.  Call us.

Can I file a lawsuit regarding racial discrimination? Two days ago an assistant manager at my workplace made a comment about my race saying to me hey Hispanic guy no I mean hey you (profane word) Mexican! I guess he was trying to joke with me when I have never made any type of racial remark to him periodically. Is it possible to file for a lawsuit about this if I haven't told management yet or recorded the time it took place or exact words there was a coworker that witnessed the altercation.

Can my 6 year old get compensation for a hotel injury? We stayed at a hotel. My son got shocked and burned on his fingertip from a table lamp on/off switch. The hotel said the fuse box had a burn out. So that might have caused it. The insurance company offered $500. Should I take it? Or can I get more?

How do I start the process to sue huge company? Want to sue a huge company for negligence but have no idea how to start the ball rolling.
