The conclusion in this report is that the use of the seat belt did not save the driver’s life. From this report of an accident on Highway 6 at the intersection of Moscow Road (February 18, 2012 at 2230 or 10:30 pm) Mindy Hume was listed as the driver of a 1995 Pontiac she is 39 years old. She is driving easterly on Highway 6 when she approaches the intersection with Moscow Road. According to the report, as she drives through the intersection her car, the Pontiac, is broadsided by the other car.  Now according to the report Ms. Hume had the right of way and the other driver had a stop sign, although in this instance the report indicates he did not stop for it. If that’s true it’s fault, the main cause of this collision that lead to a collision of such magnitude that a driver died.

Plain and simple, this is a failure to yield and lookout case.

Well, if he didn't stop for a posted stop sign how is it he's not at fault? Don't you think he has to stop for the stop sign?

All the reports for this accident were not in when all the stories were completed. Several newspapers had streched the truth. I know what happened. This was my brother who was the driver and his girlfriend was the passenger. Yes he did fail to stop but the victum didn't attempt to swerve or brake. She ended up hitting his car he then spun n hit her car n they both ended up in the ditch. If u look at her vechile the passengers side has most the damage. Anyway it was a terrible accident. Eric has to live with this the rest of his life.
