The boating accident that resulted in one man’s death has resulted in a boating while intoxicated charge and now according to the Des Moines Register, a charge of vehicular homicide. The legal limit for BAC and operating a boat is .08. When it comes to drinking and driving, boating isn't any different than cars, trucks and motorcycles. You can't drink and drive. Period.

Brother of man who died in boating accident faces new charge

The driver of one of the boats involved in a fatal Father's Day crash on the Des Moines River has been charged with vehicular homicide in the accident.
