NARRATIVE


UNIT 01 WAS NORTHBOUND ON I-29 APPROACHING THE 63 MILE MARKER. UNIT 02 WAS ALSO NORTHBOUND ON I-29 APPROACHING UNIT 01. BOTH UNITS WERE IN THE RIGHT LANE. UNIT 02 APPROACHED UNIT 01 AT A GREATER SPEED AND MADE A QUICK LANE CHANGE TO AVOID A REAR END COLLISION. UNIT 02 THEN LOST CONTROL AND MADE CONTACT WITH UNIT 01. BOTH UNITS THEN ENTERED THE EAST DITCH. UNIT 01 ROLLED ONCE AND CAME TO REST. UNIT 02 ROLLED NUMEROUS TIMES EJECTING SOME OF IT'S OCCUPANTS. NUMEROUS AGENCIES RESPONDED TO ASSIST AT THE SCENE. FURTHER INVESTIGATION CONTINUES INTO THE COLLISION, AND POSSIBLE DRIVER IMPAIRMENT.
