Who determines medical tests are “frivolous”?

While we await the scientific answers let’s ask another basic question about you and yours. Should you (and yours) be given lesser medical treatment because you’re not a VIP? THE FACTS: A woman is in a car accident and injures her neck and head. She goes to the hospital where she is examined and released. She’s 46-years-old. The mva occurs at around 11:00 a.m. on a Saturday. The next morning at 8:00 a.m. a friend notices she is unconscious. She is later pronounced dead.

Ice won't excuse the negligence of the driver crossing the center line

Ice isn’t an excuse for losing control and crossing the center line. Ice is a condition that occurs every year in Iowa. We expect the cold, we know it will snow and we also know that snow on warmer days will melt then turn to ice at night. Large Damage, Major-Serious Injury and Death Cases

Why are gas leak warning brochures not helpful?

Question: The grandchildren were the beneficiaries of a grandparent's life insurance policy. Their mother, who had power of attorney for the policy owner, "gifted" the $100,000 proceeds to one adult child, to enable them to pay cash for a home. Do the minor children have any rights or are they simply out of luck? The grandparent intended the $$ to be used for college.

When the negligent or at-fault driver dies will their insurance still pay for the other driver’s injuries?
