I’ve seen my share of single-vehicle accidents over the past 35-years. A lawyer can’t be in the business of personal injury law for as long as I have and not see at least a few hundred. What makes these different than multi-car-truck accidents is you have only one driver’s behavior to evaluate and who is the blame for the accident. Normally it’s about a loss of control of the car and that can involve speeding, not looking where you’re going or just erratic driving. Drunk driving is a big one for proving negligence. Whatever the fault may be we’ve seen it all and look forward to helping you with your case. Call 515-222-1110 and ask to speak with Attorney Lombardi, but first tell Barbara what it’s about. Just saying you want or need to talk with me usually meets resistance. So tell her it’s about a car accident, answer a few questions and she’ll put your through. I look forward to speaking with you.
Woman Ejected, Killed, in Rollover Accident Near Mapleton
Samantha Berg, 24, was killed early March 31st when her vehicle, which had been traveling east on county road E16 left the road and rolled several times. Berg was ejected from the car and was transported to Burgess Hospital where she was pronounced dead. Authorities do not believe Berg was wearing her seatbelt at the time of the accident.
Attorney Lombardi’s Comments: The key to analyzing this roll-over accident would be figuring out why the car ended up sideways allowing the rollover to even occur. It’s possible a workers’ compensation case for lifetime benefits is involved although unknown from the few facts given. In this one the driver’s claims may engender both liability and underinsured claims. See a lawyer early to maximize your recovery, is the best advice I can give.
I-29 Rollover Accident Kills One, Injures Two Others
Breanna Longoria, 26, died and two others were injured in a single vehicle rollover accident on I-29 on Friday, April 1. The accident occurred when an SUV, traveling north near the Port Neal Interchange, spun out of control. The car hit a crossover and rolled into the southbound lanes, ejecting one passenger. One of the three occupants was pronounced dead at the scene and two others were transported Mercy Medical Center.
Attorney Lombardi’s Comments: In this single vehicle rollover accident we have several passengers involved and so unlike the Berg accident previously reported more information is needed before anyone can tell if a workers’ compensation case is envisioned. In this one like the last one the passengers present their own claims and their claims may engender both liability and underinsured claims. See a lawyer early to maximize your recovery, is the best advice I can give.
Driver Killed, Three Others Injured in Single Vehicle Accident Near Plato
Chase McElvain, 30, of Seymour, was killed in a single vehicle accident north of Plato at 4:39 a.m. on April 3rd. McElvain was traveling southbound on Highway S70 when he lost control of his 2006 Cadillac while making a turn. McElvain and passengers Casey Wills, 24, and Brett Schultz, 25, were ejected from the vehicle. Another passenger, Courtney Hawk, 25, was not ejected and was able to seek help from a nearby resident. McElvain was pronounced dead, and Wills and Schultz were airlifted in critical condition. Hawk, who was wearing a seatbelt, was transported via ambulance to Wayne County Hospital where she is in stable condition.
Attorney Lombardi’s Comments: We’ve reviewed two other rollover accidents with single vehicles. In this one like the last one the passengers present their own claims and their claims may engender both liability and underinsured claims. See a lawyer early to maximize your recovery, is the best advice I can give.
