Iowa ATV rollover kills the driver in northeastern Iowa

Another ATV accident and death is being reported to have occurred in northeast Iowa. A man from northeast Iowa died Sunday while driving a Polaris ATV 6x6 vehicle. Report is he was on a hillside and rolled it. He died at the scene. He is James Leas, 59 or rural Waukon. The accident occurred near the intersection of Primrose Drive and Maple Road.

ATV’s have been in the news lately having to do with litigation and the stability of the ATV and how it is designed. We’ve previously reported on it.
