Interstate 35 Accidents

We have several I-35 car and truck accidents for Iowa. That's not unusual and certainly not with the weather we've been having.

The first one involves a pedestrian and that is a bit unusual. A later story in the Des Moines Register cites the Hawk Eye newspaper and the Lee County sheriff's office saying it was one John Fleming, a 27-year-old man walking in the passing lane of U.S. Highway 61 southbound. Strange without more of an explanation.

And there is ongoing litigation involving the group of motorcyclists who were involved in a collision on I-35 in West Des Moines. Because I'm involved I'm constrained to discuss it.

Kansas City, Missouri I-35 - An accident near Southwest Boulevard and Mission Exit there was a collision on December 6, 2010. This section of I-35 is pretty bad. The congestion and changes along with merged traffic is what I call hell on wheels. So when you're going through it watch out for accidents and crazy drivers all wanting to get someplace too fast. I've traveled it many times on my way to KC to stay at the Raphael and walk around Country Club Plaza.
