Icy Roads, Snowmobiles and a Rollover Accident

Maybe wet roads had something to do with it but to the Iowa State Patrolman conducting the investigation it wasn’t clear. The accident occurred near Rippey and involved a Pontiac Firebird traveling at a high rate of speed on Greene County Road E-57 a mile west of Rippey at 1:35 pm. A pickup truck was coming in the opposite direction and got clobbered by the spinning Firebird that is described as being out of control.
