CPEP is an anachronism for Center for Personalized Education for Physicians. You’re probably wondering why you will likely have to attend this evaluation. This evaluation helps the Board to determine if your education, skill set and experience in the practice of medicine is in any way lacking. Remember the Boards duty is to protect the public and the Board needs a basis to determine what needs to be done to protect the public.

What if you don’t want to attend? Get used to the idea that you are more than likely going to be required to attend in Denver, Colorado and you will pay for the costs. It’s the unusual case where the physician isn’t required to be evaluated in Colorado.

Where do you get information to assist you in understanding the program? Follow these links and bone up on the program.
