Hugen-Ochoa Accident on Highway 14 Leaves One Unanswered Question, Ring-ring

If I were Ochoa I’d be asking what caused the Hugen car’s 17-year-old driver to cross the center line on Highway 14 in Marshall County, Iowa. Thirty years of car accidents and it’s my opinion there are more accidents with young and distracted drivers than at any time in my lifetime. Add young, inexperience and digital distractions (cell phones) and you have the makings of a digital disaster. Lives are lost and permanently changed for the worse all so someone can have a conversation that amounts to nothing. Now I’m not saying this youthful driver in thisMarshallCountyaccident had a cell phone in her hand or for that matter had any digital distraction. But in these accidents all lawyers are heading first for the cell phone bill to see if the driver’s phone was in use at the time of the accident. And if it was in use, from the standpoint of negligence while driving your case just headed south.

So heed the warning all of you drivers, including all drivers, we will get your cell records and if you were on the phone we will know it. So you might as well tell the officer at the scene and save everyone the time and effort later on.
