The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service announced a recall on October 22, 2013 of chicken, ham and beef products produced by Reser's Fine Foods. The company is located in Topeka, Kansas. The recall affects 22,800 pounds of food products. These include containers of chicken salad, potato salad, ham, and beef. The affected products are contaminated with Listeria Monocytogenes. The bacteria was detected by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency. No illnesses related to consumption of the products have been reported.
