Floyd County Jail Ceiling Collapsed due in part to heavy rains

This is an example of property damage claims caused by other work being done. There is a $240,000 exterior brick replacement project underway on the exterior of the building and for some unexplained reason the rain came into the building, soaked the ceiling causing it to fall. Workers and inmates were not injured. The scope of work was not described. Follow the link to read more.
