Drunk Driving Charge Leads Homicide By Vehicle Charge

A Nevada, Iowa drunk driving accident has lead also to a charge of homicide by vehicle although I believe the correct term is vehicular homicide. Amy Rogers was killed when her car was involved in a collision at 500^th Avenue and 270^th Street near Kelley, Iowa. The Clendenen vehicle is reported by KCCI to have failed to stop at a stop sign - at this point this is only an allegation and has yet to be proven - which brings me to my next point.

Drunken driving is a major cause of serious injury and death in Iowa. As personal injury lawyers we deal with these cases all the time.
