Des Moines Hit-and-Run Jogger is not without options

The young woman and her husband looking for the silver Toyota that struck her while running in the road are not without options. They can turn to their own auto insurance for one option. But this is not an easy or risk free option because their insurance company will not be investigating the accident to help them out. Instead the focus of their investigation will be on whether she was herself negligent. Their focus will be on developing evidence to defend against any claim they make under the insurance policy. Which is why I say you cannot trust in advice that says when it's your insurance you're in good hands. So what is she to do?

She should hire her own lawyer and get prepared to fight with her own insurance company. Here is today’s video from KCCI News Center TV.
